so much i wanna say to you moight?
i don't even know where to even start moight.
first of all, sounds like you are having an amazing time in africa. i'm having trouble finding the right word to describe your experience there.. hmmm, how about bombastic...hmm..boomshakala..culturally chic...no, i think i'll stick to character-building. man,i really, really wish i could be there too. you know it was my dream to go there (cucumber) and hearing all these stories makes my heart pound.
you already sound like a more mature Superdha. you have no idea how glad i am to hear that you still have hope, compassion, and that desire to help ppl--who are just like us--despite all the tragedies that seem to happen at a frequency so spectacular it's making my head spin.
don't worry. do your best at all times, love people, and they will love you back, the Universe will take care of the rest, and you should never regret about what's already been done. and don't blame yourself. just believe that everything and everyone has a purpose on this earth, no matter how non-sense and/or cruel and/or brief their presence may seem.. and remember you also have a reason for being there..

ak city has been mourning for you (and biggie biggzz) - it has been raining a lot.
the dinner was funn - i deliberately invited ppl who didn't know each other at all and it was true to hoonc's theme, randomness. moight, you (and bigg bwah) would have loved it. ahh, it kinda reminded me of the good times in the first year when randomness and new ppl and crazy parties and huge raves and lindy hop lessons was our thang.
and now, i'm in whakatane.
it. is. actually ok really.
the room really is above the psych inpatient ward (shock! horror! ilia was ACTUALLY telling the truth as it is) but the room is spacious with a queen size bed, a small desk and a couple of chairs. it is actually not that bad. my team is super-kool with super-cool consultants, sweet female house officers from the UK, and very wise nurses. and of course 30 kids with sniffles (now i'm doing an ilia, it's more like 13). tetyana came for the weekend before the rotation started and we had a blast exploring the area around here for a bit. but the sad thing is, all the UK house officers are leaving this friday and the cool south african consultant (who reminds me so much of lloyd by the way) is leaving next week! oh well, then i will be sad.
btw, i'm so sorry about not being able to reply to your beautifully written posts.. i have not been able to acess the net since last thursday!! now, i've finally set up Vodafone Mobile Connect on my dad's PC laptop (which i 'borrowed' from him) and now i'm online (at modem speed since there's no 3G coverage here).
well, well, apart from that, there's so much to talk about, my friend, and i promise i will keep in touch.
i pray that you stay safe and wise.
and i know that you will come back a better man.
