hundreds of horses of happiness

was driving home from the gym today evening when i saw my old supra go past me in the opposite direction. it's the first time i've seen it since i sold it. did a quick u-turn and followed it. it always looks beautiful at night. the sparkling silver paint. the four red rear lights. the white headlights. the fat tyres and the silver alloys. the sound of the exhaust - o how i miss that deep rumble. i turned my music off and just listened to the sound of its exhaust, trying to keep up as it sped round corners. i followed it for miles. through town, onto the western motorway, and all the way to point chev. i kept wishing it was me in it again. like old times. with the music playing loud and life's sunshine shining around me. i wish i was laughing and happy as i accelerated away with her as i used to. i wish it was me in the cockpit, in her bucket seat, with my love next to me. laughing as we sped home on the motorway with our dvds, popcorn, diet coke and olives. i drove behind her, not caring where i was going. and i realised i was watching and dreaming about a past that will never be again. i finally stopped alongside the supra at a set of traffic lights.

nice car, dude!
uh, thanks.
don't you remember me? i'm the guy who sold you the car!
oh shit! yes! i thought you were in london dude?
i was, and then i came back.

the lights spilled into green.

speed away for me, will ya?
sure thing, man. see ya later!

and he did step on it. and i just watched as the tyres screeched and the exhaust roared and my supra sped away from me in an instant, carrying all the dreams and memories it shared with me with it, away. away.

Wow.

wat can i say...

watever i can.

i will say in person.

if we are destined to meet.

which we are.

ao i will say it.

that thing that i need to say to u.

that i am destined to say.

to u.

because such is our destiny.

or is it???

it is.

said the wise man.

and sped away in his supra.

oh wait! thats a different story...

where was i?

thats right - i was lost in the forrest of words of mine that trickle down like the rain drops of truth on the pandemonic canvas of destiny as it is blowing in the air of assistance for strangers with cars that have four red tail lights and that speed away from us on the traffic lights of devotion to the one deity that is according to some like Hoon as they believe in things that are there - where - u say? - i do not know - i answer - as the leaves keep trembling on the ground and fast supras from all over the world roll by with the 'wamp wamp' and the 'boom boom' and the 'wash ur driving, eh?" racing past in the night as the bartender in the backseat keeps asking whether the officer wants a diet or a regular coke with his burbon...

yep..

a lot of things need to be said.

but less things need to be written.

so i will.

stop.

writting on this glorious blog.

for.
i am not making much sense.

but how can u? when the emotions towards the car are far more than just towards the Supra... they are to a life that was but is no more.
its over.
but. a new life will begin.
it has become - despite the acqusition of a new bomb-funk vehicle.
despite all this - a new life is here! and it is now.. and we are all in it.
we are in it. no matter wat IT is.
and many would suggest that the 'it' is actually the proverbial 'it' :-)

All the best maite.

Talk to ya soon
